GENERAL Questions

IS THIS BUSINESS COACHING?

ONE-ON-ONE PARTNERSHIPS

IS THIS BUSINESS COACHING?

IS THIS THERAPY?

HOW IS THIS DIFFERENT FROM HIRING A BUSINESS CONSULTANT?

Q: Do you work with people outside the US?

Yes. I've worked with creative entrepreneurs globally. We'll need to find session times that work across time zones, but the work translates across geography.

Most partnership work happens via video call anyway, so location is less important than fit and readiness.

Not exactly. Coaching typically provides frameworks, accountability, and helps you find your own answers. I do that sometimes, but I also provide strategic guidance, psychological insight, and direct advisory support. I'll tell you what I think. I'll offer perspectives you can't see from inside your business. And we'll do depth work that goes beyond typical coaching.

Think of it as: strategy consulting + therapeutic business development and operational consulting, all integrated.

No. I'm not a licensed therapist and this isn't a medical offering. But I am trained in therapeutic techniques and psychological frameworks specifically for creative entrepreneurs and business contexts.

We do depth work. We explore psychological patterns. We address emotional blocks. But always in service of your business transformation, not as standalone psychological treatment.

This work complements mental health therapy beautifully, but doesn't replace it.

Traditional consultants analyze your business, give you recommendations, and maybe help with implementation. They treat you as a rational actor making logical decisions.

We do that too. But we also address the psychological patterns undermining those strategic decisions. The unconscious blocks. The creative identity questions. The emotional relationship with money, visibility, success.

Because I've learned: giving someone a perfect strategy they can't execute because of psychological blocks is useless. And helping someone with psychological blocks without giving them practical business strategy leaves them stuck.

You need both. That's what makes this different.

Probably not yet. This work is most powerful for creative entrepreneurs who have:

  • Existing revenue from creative work/service offering (even if inconsistent)

  • Clients or customers you're already serving

  • Some operational infrastructure (even if it's messy)

If you're in the idea stage or just launching, you likely need different support first. Get some traction, then we can do this deeper work together.

I’M JUST STARTING MY BUSINESS, IS THIS FOR ME?

Do you work with people who want to scale their businesses?

Depends what you mean by scale.

If you mean: grow revenue, expand impact, build more sophisticated offers, reach more people, increase profitability—yes, absolutely.

If you mean: build a team, create scalable systems to eventually exit from, grow at any cost,, build an empire—probably not the right fit.

I work with creative entrepreneurs building sustainable businesses they want to run, not businesses they want to sell. Growth, yes. But on your terms.

Q: What if I'm not sure this is right for me?

Schedule an exploratory conversation. We'll talk for 30-45 minutes about your situation, what you're looking for, and whether this approach might serve you.

No pressure. No obligation. Just honest conversation about fit.

If this isn't right for you, I'll tell you. And I'll often have suggestions for what might be better suited to where you are.

Q: Can I pause my partnership if life gets overwhelming?

The work requires consistency to be effective. That said, life happens. If you need to pause, we'll talk about it and find a solution that works.

What usually works better: adjusting session frequency temporarily rather than full pauses. But we'll figure out what serves the work and your reality.
