GENERAL Questions

HOW DO I KNOW WHICH SERVICE IS RIGHT FOR ME?

If you're not sure, schedule an exploratory conversation. We'll talk about your situation and I'll suggest what I think would serve you best. If I don't think any of my services are the right fit, I'll tell you honestly.

DO YOU OFFER FREE CONSULTATIONS?

Yes—exploratory conversations are free, 30-45 minute calls to assess fit and discuss your situation. No pressure. Just conversation.

After that, all services are paid.
Partnerships start at $6,000-$12,000 for 6 months / Critical Conversations start at $1,000-$2,500.

CAN I WORK WITH YOU IF I’M NOT IN NEW YORK?

Yes. I work primarily virtually with clients around the world — location isn't a barrier. We'll find a time slot that works across both our time zones.

WHAT IF I CAN’T AFFORD YOUR SERVICES?

This work requires significant investment — financial and personal. Price resistance is often a signal, not a barrier: clients who are genuinely ready tend not to negotiate on whether to invest, only on how.

I occasionally make exceptions for BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ creative entrepreneurs facing real structural financial constraints. If that's you, reach out and let's talk.

Otherwise, if the investment doesn't feel accessible right now, I'd rather you wait until it does than try to make this work at a discount.

DO YOU WORK WITH BUSINESSES OR JUST INDIVIDUALS?

I specialize in working with founders and owners of independently owned creative businesses — solopreneurs and solo practitioners to small-and-medium-scale businesses with fewer than 50 employees.

Enterprise-scale businesses  and corporations aren't my arena.

ONE-ON-ONE PARTNERSHIPS

IS THIS BUSINESS COACHING?

No.

Coaching is a specific methodology — practitioners are trained in a framework and certified to facilitate it, regardless of whether they have direct expertise in your field. That's not what I do.

I bring an MBA, award-winning design experience, and a career built both inside and outside big business — including presenting my work at credentialed venues like SXSW. What I offer is strategic guidance, psychological insight, and direct advisory support, grounded in real expertise, not a certification.

Think of it as strategy consulting and operational consulting, with the depth of psychological insight built in.

IS THIS THERAPY?

No. I'm not a licensed therapist and this isn't a medical offering. But I am trained in therapeutic techniques and psychological frameworks specifically for creative entrepreneurs and business contexts.

We do depth work. We explore psychological patterns. We address emotional blocks. But always in service of your business transformation, not as standalone psychological treatment.

This work complements mental health therapy beautifully, but doesn't replace it.

HOW IS THIS DIFFERENT FROM HIRING A MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT?

Traditional consultants analyze your business from the outside and hand you a recommendations deck — a strategy built for you, that you're then expected to execute. They treat you as a rational actor who just needs the right answer delivered.

That's not how this works.

I don't hand you a strategy to implement. I help you identify, define, and develop your own — because a strategy you didn't build, you won't fully own, and a strategy you don't own, you won't sustain. My role is to bring my approach, my pattern recognition, my outside perspective — and use it to guide you toward mastery of your own domain, not dependence on mine.

You walk away owning the thinking, not just executing someone else's.

I’M JUST STARTING MY BUSINESS, IS THIS FOR ME?

Yes—with conditions.

I do work with early-stage founders, but I vet new-to-market clients carefully. What I'm looking for: genuine financial appetite and access to invest — not just in our work together, but in the broader infrastructure your ambitions require. And I want to see real capacity to do the work — to launch, and then to sustain.

If that's you, let's talk.

DO YOU WORK WITH PEOPLE WHO WANT TO SCALE THEIR BUSINESSES?

Depends what you mean by scale.

If you mean: grow revenue, expand impact, build more sophisticated offers, reach more people, increase profitability—yes, absolutely.

If you mean: build a team, create scalable systems to eventually exit from, grow at any cost,, build an empire—probably not the right fit.

I work with creative entrepreneurs building sustainable businesses they want to run, not businesses they want to sell. Growth, yes. But on your terms.

DO YOU WORK WITH PEOPLE OUTSIDE THE US?

Yes. I've worked with creative entrepreneurs globally. We'll need to find session times that work across time zones, but the work translates across geography.

Most partnership work happens via video call anyway, so location is less important than fit and readiness.

WHAT IF I’M NOT SURE THIS IS RIGHT FOR ME?

Schedule an exploratory conversation. We'll talk for 30-45 minutes about your situation, what you're looking for, and whether this approach might serve you.

No pressure. No obligation. Just honest conversation about fit.

If this isn't right for you, I'll tell you. And I'll often have suggestions for what might be better suited to where you are.

CAN I PAUSE MY PARTNERSHIP IF LIFE GETS OVERWHELMING?

The work requires consistency to be effective. That said, life happens. If you need to pause, we'll talk about it and find a solution that works.

What usually works better: adjusting session frequency temporarily rather than full pauses. But we'll figure out what serves the work and your reality.
