Commercial Interior & Product Designer
Erin Ruby, CID, IIDA is the founder of Erin Ruby Design LLC, a multidisciplinary practice based in New York, which specializes in product design, strategy, and commercial interiors. The fundamental philosophy of her studio is a human-centered, participatory design process which expands the role of designer as facilitator rather than expert.
In 2023, Ruby also co-founded ECHO Building Systems, a climate tech startup working at the intersection of the climate and housing crises. As an innovation company, ECHO develops proprietary chemistries and low carbon building materials that reduce fossil fuel dependency and lower embodied carbon emissions within the built environment.
